How ?

Over the 3 years of the project several activities will be set up for sixth form students and teachers. There are broadening activities, i.e. those aimed at reaching as many people as possible, and also deepening activities, i.e. those focusing on a limited number of people, but facilitating more in depth exploration of the issues.

Are you a student?

Then we have the following in store for you: an international youth contest, in which you take action to raise awareness of the MDGs and may win a ticket for the international youth camp in the Czech Republic. During this international youth camp, we will have lots of fun and deepen our learning on the MDGs. We will also work together on a creative 'international statement' which will inform and raise awareness of the MDGs to international politicians, press and the wider public.
Both activities are international: young people of your age will also be taking action on the MDGs and  you will be able to meet one another and compare notes at the youth camp! So, come and take a look at the contest page and at the other countries on this website!

Are you a teacher?

Besides educational material we organised a truly exciting activity for you: an intercultural immersion trip to Senegal. We also organised an international seminar in Gent (2007) for teachers of all participating countries (a report on this activity can be found here).
